Private briefings provide an opportunity to explore how WAJA is addressing both economic opportunity and infrastructure gaps in one of West Africa’s fastest-growing automotive markets.
Why WAJA – Why Now
Ghana currently has more than 2.5 million vehicles on the road and imports over 100,000 vehicles annually, yet modern repair infrastructure remains extremely limited. Outside of a small number of manufacturer-affiliated service centers, most vehicles are serviced in informal repair environments that lack advanced diagnostics and standardized training.
At the same time:
- Luxury vehicles such as BMW, Lexus, Audi, and Range Rover are increasingly present in the market.
- Electric vehicles are beginning to enter the ecosystem.
- Parts distribution networks remain fragmented.
WAJA addresses these challenges by building a platform that strengthens both technical workforce development and service infrastructure.
